Being Organized For School

Being Organized For School
How many of you come to school with unsharpened, short pencils? What about a messy locker? Carrying all of your stuff to class at once? Well, that's trouble, isn't it? Don't you all wish there was something easier? More efficent? Its called being organized. Being organized is something we should all be able to have. Especially at school.

KNOW WHAT YOU NEED FOR CLASS: Make a schedule to tape on the inside of your locker, that way you will be able to see what you need for class. Color code for each subject. For example: Math, you have blue equipment, Language Arts, you have purple equipment.

HAVE EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE: You need to keep everything in your locker. Keep later period equipment in a backpack and the next period's equipment on the floor of your locker, easy to reach. That way you will be able to grab everything quickly and move on to the next class. I reccomend having some sort of binder for each class, color coded.

SCHEDULE: Have a schedule for what time your classes are. That way, you will be to classes on the right time, with everything you need.

AN ORGANIZED DESK: Pencils on the top left hand side, paper in the center, books under the desk. Don't have a messy desk. It doesn't get you anywhere in life.

PREPARATION: Even at home, have a schedule to mark certain activities and tests. That way you will remember to study and prepare for them.

A PLANNER: Have a planner to write down all of your homework and upcoming assesments. Color code in different colored writing utencils for different subjects.

Christmas inspired . ♥

Christmas inspired . ♥
Tips ?

* For the edgy look , try pairing a cute beanie or hat to spice it up .
* If you'd like , you can use different colors of the boots. Maroons, forest greens, or a navy blue would go nice .
* Try not to take away from the leggings. They already look edgy enough , so why make it just look.. well.. tacky?

* For the girly look , add a cute statement necklace, earrings, or bracelets.
* Do NOT pull up the sleeves ! It wouldn't look right .
* If you don't like the heels, try adding a cute pair of t-strap sandals , or just some cute black gladiators .
* The skirt is super cute , and to spice it p , add a cute black skinny belt , or gold. Whichever you prefer.
* The skirt is the boldest piece . Please , try not to change the colors . If you are, choose deep colors .

* For the Boho look , try not to add any statemtn jewelry pieces , a few cute bracelets and a tiny necklace would look nice.
* You can always mix up the colors! I prefer a deep purple , or black for the sweater if you'd change that .
* Do not change the shoes . A pair of boots will make it look weird .

* For the indie look , try not to add anything . i mean ANYTHING . You can add a cute skinny belt , but that's really it . Do not take away from the tacky sweater .
* You can change the sweater , just make sure it's Christmas related .

tips for studying

tips for studying
ok so i spend a large majority of my time studying and as time has gone by ive gotten pretty good at it.
i'll give you some tips from what i do and then ones from online. oh yeah, and for studying you have to pay attention in class too. and then when you study at home you just go over what you've learned.

MY TiPS;;
- always write down notes by hand
- or write down notes on a power point
- always look over you're notes like once or twice every day till your test or whatever
- the day before your test don't cram info. its easier if you have already been looking at the info.
- on the day before your test make sure your schedule is not too busy do all your homework if you can the day before so that when its time to study you don't have to worry about anything else
- listen to music. some people prefer to listen to music that you can jam out to others prefer quiet soft music. i like to listen to songs that i can jam out to so i dont get bored while studying.
- GET SLEEP. there's no use in losing sleep for a test. your brain needs sleep so it can retain the information.
- EAT. eating helps so much. on test day make sure that you have eaten a good breakfast and arent going to be hungry midway through the test

tips from thecollegeprepster.com ;;
- Pay attention in class
- use two pen colors to indicate the importance. such as red for the really important things
- do the readings
-KEEP YOUR PLANNER/AGENDA ORGANIZED

Great Winter Reads

Great Winter Reads
I"M BACK. Okay...That looks really creepy I know. Well yeah, I am back. I deleted my old polyvore account and my new one is @kateisapotternerd I don't feel like annoucing my sob story, I can do that on my own time. So since you were all expecting a tip, here I go!

Great Winter Reads:

The Help by Kathryn Stockett

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

HP and The Goblet Of Fire by the fabulous J.K. Rowling

Any book by Stephen King

Lunch In Paris by Elizabeth Bard (I love this book so much I read it 9 times and I'm reading it my 10th. It still makes me laugh)

To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee (this book changed my life)

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins (I recomend sitting on the heater while Christmas carols are playing in a dimly lit room)

Let It Snow by Lauren Myracle, Maureen Johnson and John Green (Go to the Starbucks and read this)

The Silver Chair by C.S. Lewis

The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien

Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows by the wonderful J.K. Rowling (I recomend reading this in the woods while it is snowing. It really sets the scene.)

A book on wolves (Its just wintry, okay)

These are all great books. Another recomendation is to drink apple cinnamon spice tea while reading these books. Or hot chocolate. Hot Chocolate works too.

ugly christmas sweater ideas
haaai!

it's almost christmas and ugly christmas sweaters are the perfect addition to outfits in this lovely month.
if you don't have a ugly christmas sweater, ask your mom or grandma or someone who would wear a tacky christmas sweater. haha. if not, you can always go to your nearest thrift. that's where i get mine. it's a lot better to go to the thrift then like buy one online cause they are usually super expensive and its not as unique. cause thrift store shopping is always fun.
